Explanation

With a grateful heart, I acknowledge first and above all God Himself, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the Author of life, the Giver of wisdom, and the One who reveals truth through His Word.

This book exists only because of His grace. Every insight, every understanding, every opportunity to study, write, teach, and share the message of Genesis has come from Him. May all glory, honor, and praise return to Him alone.

I thank the Lord for His Word, the Holy Scriptures, which are living, powerful, trustworthy, and sufficient. The Book of Genesis is not merely a record of beginnings; it is the foundation of God’s revelation, the doorway into the story of redemption, and a testimony to His sovereignty, holiness, mercy, faithfulness, and covenant love.

I also acknowledge with gratitude all faithful servants of God, Bible teachers, pastors, scholars, and writers whose labors in Scripture have helped generations understand the riches of God’s Word. Their devotion to biblical truth has encouraged deeper study, clearer teaching, and greater reverence for the Scriptures.

I am thankful for my family, friends, fellow believers, and Bible study companions who have encouraged this work through prayer, support, discussion, and spiritual fellowship. Their love and encouragement have been a blessing throughout this journey.

I especially thank every reader who will open this book with a desire to understand Genesis more deeply. My prayer is that this study will not merely increase knowledge, but lead to worship, faith, obedience, repentance, hope, and a deeper love for the God of Scripture.

May this work serve the church, strengthen believers, guide students of the Bible, and help many see how Genesis points forward to the fullness of God’s redemptive plan in Christ.

To God alone be the glory.

“The Lord gave the word; great was the company of those that published it.”

Psalm 68:11
